Unlike other spreaders that can create overlap or missed spots, resulting in a striped effect on lawns, this broadcast spreader evenly distributes fertilizer in a random spray pattern, covering a width of 8 to 10 feet. This broadcast coverage encourages more natural, uniform grass growth while minimizing the amount of fertilizer required, providing an added ecological benefit.

Crafted with a 1/2-inch tubular steel frame, the broadcast spreader is designed for towing behind a tractor and can be used for spreading grass seed or ice melt in large open areas. Loaded into a rust-resistant polyethylene hopper, the spreader can accommodate approximately 85 pounds and is suitable for yards and areas up to 14,200 square feet. It features a Delirn gear drive type and is towed on two 10-by-4 pneumatic tires with 1/2-inch diameter tubular steel axles.

While the broadcast spreader is excellent for distributing fertilizer, spreading seed, and ice melt, Agri-Fab recommends against using it for powder lime. Made in the USA, this broadcast spreader is designed for towing purposes only and cannot be converted for manual pushing. The product may come with a limited one-year warranty.
